I have used a Therma Rest pad for years and was never happy with the bulk or the weight. The Big Agnes air mattress is large enough and thick enough to give me a good night's rest. I used it on a recent backpacking trip, and stayed warm and comfortable at -20 deg F. The Big Agnes rolls up into a c... Read More

Very small, portable, light. The fact it inflates to a few inches adds comfort, but it's SO narrow it's very easy to roll off.Good for folks who do not move around too much in their sleep.Wish it was wider up top.

Bought this pad to increase comfort over closed cell pads( eg. z-rest), and to be lite and narrow enough to put two of them in a small two person tent. Turned out to be an excellent choice.

I finally decided to get a big agnes after a recent week of tossing and turning on my old sleeping pad during a backpacking trip. I'm so glad I finally decided to upgrade to a big agnes, it's so comfortable. I've gotten the best nights sleep outside on my big agnes, don't know how I survived without it for so long. It's like sleeping back home on your bed. It inflates quickly and packs down really small, easily fits inside a pack. Only concern is that it will probably be easy to puncture, so be careful where you lay it. Other than that, LOVE it and am very happy with my purchase.

This is a very nice product. It takes a bit to blow up and cannot be done by a younger kid. Squeaks quite a bit when rolling over.

This pad was comfortable to sleep on for the most part. I'm a side sleeper and woke up without any shoulder or hip pain which I typically get on foam pads. One big draw back if you are camping with others is this thing makes a ton of noise when you move around on it. My friend could hear it very well from his tent. He has a big agnes pad, but it is one of the new red one. It is not loud like this one.
