lost three of four pole baskets after the second run on the slopesReviewed by sad on the hill from California on Monday, January 29, 2018very disappointed in the results of these poles. they were not the cheapest ones for sale but the results sure didn't support the prices. the first two powder baskets fell off after the first fun of the day. i then switched to the down hill baskets and lost one of them on the next run.....the screw mechanism is plastic and that may have led to the loss of the baskets but skiing on powder without the baskets makes the poles useless....
So light!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gina Winter is Here from Wisconsin on Friday, January 5, 2018A great product, extremely sleek design, and entirely feather weight
Great all season poleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Skiwjar from Reno/tahoe on Tuesday, April 18, 2017These poles are sturdy and light. Two basket sizes and the extended grip is comfortable with or without gloves on. The straps are hard to adjust when already on wrist.

DecentVerified Buyer Reviewed by Longstride from Wyoming on Thursday, April 6, 2017Solid construction, scratches a but easy, but overall solid and worth $. Like the extra baskets

Good for groomersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tahoe Jay from Lake Tahoe, CA on Tuesday, March 28, 2017With a name like "Expedition" I'd think these would be telescoping poles. For the price though, they are good for in-bounds skiing.
Quality PolesReviewed by Cam from Killington on Friday, March 3, 2017Love my old Black Diamond Poles and these were much the same but with extended grip. Received two left handed poles though. Not a big deal with these particular ones.
defectiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Skier from Colorado on Saturday, January 14, 2017These poles broke the first day we used them!!!One just snapped in half while pole planting! Very shocking and disappointing. I wonder if they were defective irregulars and had a weak spot.
decent polesVerified Buyer Reviewed by estes from colorado on Saturday, December 17, 2016For the price these are just fine for skiing. I use them for AT skiing.
