Great Derailed savings on a quality Black Diamond daypack. Light weight, excellent suspension system, amazed at how much I can stuff into this pack. Thanks Derailed ... replaced my 45 year old Kelty daypack. Now my go-to ... stylin' with comfort, quality, greater capacity. Love it!

This pack has plenty of room for all the gear and lunch you need for an extended day trip. Very comfortable and distributes the weight perfectly.

This is a sweet pack. The fit is great, it doesn't chafe, it holds a hydration bladder, and it has more than enough space for a day hike. I even strapped a pair of snowshoes onto it. Very pleased.

I ordered both the medium and the small hoping one would work for an upcoming trip, based on the notion that they were designed for women. I am a petite woman a bit on the plump side ; the small pack pressed on my b-cup breasts when the sternum strap was fastened, and the medium had a pocket on the right hip band which rubbed harshly against the inside of my arm. Disappointed, I sent both of these handsome, well made packs back.

Seems like a great pack otherwise but came missing the sternum strap (as seen in photo). STP wouldn't clarify if a "second" but only offered to refund. Fortunately folks at Black Diamond overnighted one. Otherwise, this is a 4 star purchase.

Bought this pack without actually seeing first. Very impressed at this point. Seems well designed, very comfortable, moves well with you. I haven't fully tested it in the mountains yet but seems good so far. It was bigger than I expected and nice that it is basically 1 main compartment. Not a lot of wasted small pockets.

Good quality materials. Plenty of adjustments for a good fit. Belt is nicely padded, comfortable, and the little belt pouch is handy for snacks. Internal frame provides good support for load ratings. The stretchy side pockets are great for two water bottles, and the front pouch is convenient for quick access to a rain jacket or other clothing. The front zipper pocket is handy for maps, compass, etc.
