Great pumpVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gg from VA on Sunday, June 18, 2017Can't bet the price for such a nice pump
Big Effort Little OutputVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ron the Rider from Massachusetts on Monday, May 29, 2017Nice looking design and features, but the pump takes significant effort to get air in a tire, especially as the pressures increase. The base feels tippy, like it wants to tip over even with your foot on it. I kept it, and will use it for the shop spare or a travel pump. I would have expected more from Blackburn.
Sending it BackReviewed by Black Hills RN from South Dakota on Sunday, October 2, 2016The pressure gauge is is very difficult to see, even in full light. It also did not work making it necessary to have to use a tire pressure gauge to check the tire pressure. This is extra steps I just don't want to have to deal with.
Great deal with couponReviewed by op from midwest on Thursday, September 15, 2016Yes, this model is 3 generations old (the Airtower 4 is currently on the market) but it still works great in my first few uses. I bought it to replace my 20-year old floor pump that wasn't sealing so well on my Presta valves anymore. I love that this locks onto presta or schrader valves without having to change parts in the head. And the needle storage in the handle makes so much sense--I'm always pumping up balls it seems.
My only gripe is the gauge which has a flimsy ring you can turn to mark the desired pressure. I'm sure it will break (or just slip out of place) but it's not something I'd use though my family might.
Works fineReviewed by PG from NJ on Tuesday, March 26, 2013Worked well on 3 different kids bikes
gauge is too broadReviewed by bpw from colorado on Sunday, March 24, 2013Everything works great except that the gauge increments are to broad making it hard to get within 1-2 psi accurately
