Love the Rack for 29r MTB

I wanted to add a rack so I can take off a jacket and use a bungee cord to strap it to a rack while Mountain Biking. I have a Specialized 29'r Rockhopper Hardtail with disc brakes. This worked perfectly! The flat black even matched the red and black frame of my bike. And the price was fantastic!

It comes with sparse instruction directions, but there are Youtube video's on how to install bike racks. The product comes with lots of extra nuts, bolts, and plastic covered metal things to allow you to attach to frame parts. My recommendation is to check your bike and see if you have two threaded holes (probably with a bolt or plastic cap) on the two arm supports that meet near the seat post. Also check if there are two threaded holes on assembly near the rear axle. If you do, then the installation will be a piece of cake.

My only issue with installation was that I had to carefully and gently bend the two arms apart to make it wide enough to fit over the rear wheel assembly to where it could bolt on. Not really a problem, just wanted to be extra careful.and not break anything.

Very solid. Suppose to hold 45 pounds.and probably will. I hope I never load anything that heavy on it.
