great when nymph bite is on earlier in season (in MN). Was on small stream in SE MN and had one of the best days in a long time on the water with this set of flies.

  • “Is this a tungsten bead?”

    • This fly does not have a tungsten bead. Overall, I don't think you benefit much from a tungsten in a copper john as the copper wire body with the normal bead sinks pretty fast as is. The only other comment I can add is to put a little extra head cement / sally hansen's nail polish around the collar to reinforce the fly.
