Energy Bar Recipe: Peanut Butter Trail Mix Bars

Every outdoor excursion requires the right trail food to keep your body fueled for the adventure. You probably have a favorite trail mix recipe or a favorite energy bar that you enjoy on the trail or in the backcountry. We've put the two together for a special energy bar recipe we call Peanut Butter Trail Mix Bars.

Peanut Butter Trail Mix Bar Recipe


Mix the following ingredients in a large mixing bowl:

1 Cup of Crushed Walnuts
1 Cup Oats
2/3 Cup Dried Cranberries
1/2 Cup M&M's

No Bake Energy Bars
Mix well. Then add:

1 Cup Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Honey

Mix well. Then pour mixture into a 9"X9" baking pan. Place pan in the refrigerator for 15 minutes until the mixture hardens. Cut into squares and serve.
