"Reflection in Thousand Island Lakes - Mammoth backcountry, CA. On one of my annual solo backpacking trips. I suppose because I'm a girl, no one can ever believe I go alone. When asked why I go solo into the backcountry - I feel like this picture answers the question perfectly: 'For the reflection.'"

"Taken at Prophesy Wall during recent climbing trip to Utah. Great climbing! I took this shot of my friend Casey."

"I took this photo while out hiking and exploring the Mt Hood wilderness. The area seen in this image was part of the Barlow Road which pioneers used to cross over the mountain on there way to settle Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. This particular area was by far the most treacherous leg of the 2,000 mile journey along the Oregon Trail."
