Breckenridge, CO

Not ready to put the skis and snowboards away yet? Spring is a great time for skiing and snowboarding. You'll find sunny skies, good snow conditions and discounted lift tickets which all make a great ski resort the perfect spring break destination.

Breckenridge offers great skiing for people of all levels. There are long groomers, hard bumps and soft powder waiting for you in the trees. After a hard day on the slopes, soak in the Colorado sun at one of the restaurant patios or stop by the brewery for a cold one. After dark, main street comes alive with live bands and DJs playing at many of the local hangouts.

If you are looking for an adventure outside the ski area boundaries, try backcountry skiing on Loveland Pass or grab your snowshoes and try climbing Mount Quandry, one of Colorado's easier 14ers.
