5.0 out of 5 stars. Phenomenal Shoes!

I took a risk ordering these shoes as I couldn't find any reviews and really needed a good multi-use shoe for a trip to Costa Rica. I bought these shoes per the sizing suggestions of going up a size if you are usually a half size; so usually a 8.5 I ordered the 9. They fit perfectly and were incredibly lightweight. I was worried they might fall apart easily because of the deal of a price and lightweight nature. WRONG. I wore these shoes for beach running, rain forest hiking, and excursions such as horseback riding, tubing, zip-lining, and rock climbing. I didn't break them in or anything, and they were so comfortable; not a single blister or sore spot. Absolutely the ultimate active water shoe. Water drains out through the bottom making these shoes very diverse without having to worry about getting rocks in your shoes etc. Would definitely buy again! (I bought the blue and turquoise ones :) )

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Like these water shoes overall

Needed water shoes for an aerobic/trekking class. Since they only come in even sizes and other reviewers noted they ran small, I ordered up and was glad I did. They work well, are very lightweight and drain well. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is because they take FOREVER to dry! My class is early morning. I bring them home and put them in the sun on our screened porch in the southern part of the US. It's 90+ degrees out there but they are never dry the next morning when I'm ready to put them on. I don't know why they take so long to dry! Otherwise, I highly recommend them.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Ultralight, love the drainage holes on the sole

These things are insanely light, like wearing flip flops or light slippers. The fit is, as the name implies, like a glove. I typically wear a 9.5 or 10 in most shoes and without socks (of course) the size 10 fits me perfectly. I've only worn them a couple times so far, in a creek followed by walking on a trail. No break-in period, they were super comfortable even walking in them wet there was no issue with rubbing or blisters. The laces stayed tied. The royal blue part of the uppers is a mesh-like fabric that keeps out sand and debris. Water flows through the shoe out the triangular drainage holes on the sole. The holes are covered with fine screening that kept out coarse sand, though it did let in a few bits of finer sand--very little, though. They seem well-made. I'm looking forward to wearing them at the ocean and on a trip to the Great Lakes this summer.
