I love these boots and would wear them everyday, everywhere, if I could. They are a little heavier than I expected but I figure I'm getting an added workout bonus when I walk in them. Very warm!

I bought these mostly just to work in the yard in the winter and walk the dogs. The first day I got them they were so comfortable I wore them in the house the rest of the day, and even though they are super warm, my feet didn't get all sweaty in them. I love these boots because they are still waterproof but are a bit shorter than normal rain boots, and they don't have to fit over my big calves.

I put these on in the morning to walk the kids to school/carry on walking the dogs to the woods, and I keep them on all day. This is my fourth pair of Bogs and I love them the most. It will probably get tricky once the snow hits, but these are possibly the most comfortable boots I've worn in a long time. I like that they are easy on/off, warm, waterproof, and look classy too.

Asked by Anonymous from Seattle on 2/22/2011 12:00:00 AM
  • “Are these boots rated for warmth in the snow? Do they run large. I wear a 7 1/2 and aways buy an 8 when no 1/2 size is available. I hesitate to order down to a 7.”
Asked by Junette from York, PA on 2/4/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • These do not have a rating, but they will keep your feet warm and dry. It is recommended to order a half size down.

    • I think I can safely say that these boots run 1/2 size large; however, with thicker or layered socks, they become a perfect fit without pinching. Then they are very warm AND totally waterproof.

About Bogs Footwear

Based in the Pacific Northwest, the Bogs footwear company has been creating waterproof, durable and comfortable footwear for work and play since 2002. Although Bogs boots started by targeting the farm and agricultural industry, word began to spread quickly and it wasn’t long before Bogs rain boots started showing up at local fishing holes, mountain hunting cabins, wintertime tailgating events and just about everywhere in between. Premium materials are combined with unique performance features to create footwear that keeps feet dry, warm and comfortable in wet, cold and snowy conditions. Of course, the young folks aren’t left out. The brand also creates a wide variety of colorful and comfy Bogs kids’ boots for multiple weather conditions.
