The stud, though they send a tool and claim that is can be removed (and I would assume switched) doesn't budge. The tool is rather useless. As a lefty, the clip is on the wrong side but cannot be swapped. The stud, workable left and right is slightly better for a righty. I would switch is around but I cannot remove the screw with the tool supplied and I do not have a T5 Torx driver.
