I just returned from a trip up into the rockies. Four days of camping/backpacking. This pack did a great job. Very comfortable, intuitive design. I like the dual daisy chain feature. Made it easy to clip things to the pack. Nice to have an accessible rain cover, though it comes packed in one of the hip belt pockets, I put in the front stretch pocket along with my own rain gear, and saved the belt pockets for binocs and cliff bars!
I tried out another Boreas pack with a detachable lid that converted into a day pack. Brilliant! Why isn't on this pack? The only reason I brought it down to four stars.
Comfortable pack, holds a ton of stuff, easy to adjust.

About Boreas

Named after the Greek god of the cold north wind, Boreas is a small, independent outdoor gear brand founded by Tae Kim in 2010 and headquartered in San Francisco’s Mission District. Developed, prototyped and field-tested by a close-knit design team, all Boreas backpacks, tents and accessories are made to offer a combination of lightweight performance, exceptional functionality, durability and minimalist aesthetics. In order to produce superior gear, Boreas refuses to rush the development process and carefully tests every aspect of each product, from tent pole architecture to zipper orientation to daisy chain placement. If you’re passionate about gear and spending time outdoors, Boreas is one brand you don’t want to miss.
