These are the right size for special jams or jellies you make this summer and keep to give as gifts at Christmas time of the brighten up a stormy day this winter. Champagne jelly is beautiful in them! They are well made and stand up to canning.

  • “Are the caps reusable for canning?”
Asked by Sue D from Minnesota on 8/18/2017 10:52:26 AM
    • Yes. I use mine over and over for canning.

  • “can they go in the freezer?”
Asked by Barb from maryland on 5/1/2017 10:52:52 AM
    • Don't see why not. They are thermally sound - should withstand canning and freezing, but be careful of thermal shock (putting something too hot into the freezer too soon). Keep in mind that this is glass - so it is still fragile and will break when dropped on a solid floor. I like the smaller canning jar size because it is convenient and compact.

    • These do not state specifically whether they are or are not safe for freezer use.
