Verified Buyer Reviewed by yogaman from Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 12, 2016They are warm and keep the cold out and true to size. I am a 32 waist, ordered 32 and they fit perfectly
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tom B. from Western Washington. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016Medium felt a little smaller than I expected, but they do indeed fit and make my buttocks appear more shapely than usual. Warm and waterproof, I wore them on a two day hike in the rainy cold mountains where they performed very well. I'm excited to have gotten such a great deal on some rad pants. Additionally, they have zippers down both legs enabling you to take them off whilst keeping your boots on which is handy in case of disco fever or other thermal malady encountered on the trail.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by From the Mitten from Grand Rapids, MI on Thursday, September 22, 2016Very warm but the waist in the back sits very low and doesn't leave much room in the seat when sitting.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Subpoena Dubois from in the Redwoods on Wednesday, January 20, 2016These pants are excellent for the price. The full side zippers make it a cinch to step out street clothes into your ski gear. They're roomy enough to slip over a pair of jeans & of course leggings. My husband monitors the river here on the coast during flood events so these are also great for rain--he loves these so much we got him a 2nd pair! He is 5'11", about 175 lbs & the size large is perfect (even though there are several velcro tabs to adjust for fit). Good deal, good ski pants.
Reviewed by Eric714 from Naperville IL on Thursday, December 10, 2015Seems to be of good quality.
However, No pockets in the front and the size ran small. I wear a 44" waist and the XXL were too snug.

I wear 34 inseam and I just bought the size L. If I unroll the velcro cuff at the bottom, the size L is plenty long.
The waist is 54-56 inches and the inseam is 32 inches.
“Do you have this pair of ski pants in a Large with a Tall inseam (about 34")? Or any other ski pants that have a waist about 38" and inseam of 34"? Thanks.”
Sorry the longest inseam we have is a 32" in that waist size.
“How well does the side zipper work? I have a pair of Marker side zip pants. However, the zipper always gets caught in the fabric, so I rarely use it. I want to find a pair of pants where the side zipper actually works well so I can use it to vent heat as well as take the pants off.”
The zippers on the legs work very well and have never caught in the material to my knowledge. I have a pair of hand-me-downs from my sons and are still in excellent condition. My boys have used these pants for years and they really stand up to the wear and tear of very active back-country snowmachining, winter camping and skiing.
The Boulder Gear Kodiak Ski Pants do have ankle scuff guards.
