4.0 out of 5 stars. Great quality for budget ski pants, but loose in waistVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from San Francisco on Tuesday, February 26, 2019These ski pants were surprisingly good quality for the price. They kept me dry and warm skiing bunny hills with my daughter for three days with temps in the 20s and snow showers (with just a midweight base layer underneath). I am between Medium and Large and got the Large size pants. I had a hard time getting a good fit on the waist with the velcro adjustments and elastic waistband. After a day of skiing, the crotch was sagging down on me. Some belt loops or more adjustment would help with those of us between sizes. I will probably find a pair of suspenders to use with these in the future!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great value, minor inconveniencesReviewed by Saber from Central Texas on Monday, February 25, 2019I originally bought these to go skiing in, but only have used them for hiking in the snow (and subsequently rolling around in snow like a little kid, because I haven’t gotten to experience much of it since I moved to Texas). They performed quite well.
Positives: These kept me warm in freezing temperatures and deep snow (even when rolling around and laying in it), and never had any water leak through. They provided a great range of motion, more than expected, and did not hinder hiking a mountain in snow on Appalachian Trail.
Negatives: There’s only one pocket, and it’s in back. I didn’t think this would be an issue, but it was an inconvenience while hiking. These have no obvious way to tighten them, there’s no cinch straps or even belt loops (I might try suspenders so I don’t have to keep pulling up).
I’m not an expert on snow pants as growing up and even the few times I’ve gone skiing I just made due and layered, so these were my first purchase. They did surprisingly well, and as the most affordable pair I found, they were definitely of great value. I would look for a pair with tightening features and pockets next time, but if those don’t bother you or you’re budget minded, these are a great purchase. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. They’re bigger nowVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from MI on Thursday, February 14, 2019I had a pair of XLs that fit great and lasted 4 yrs before the side zipper broke. Bought some replacements in the same size and they are puffy pants.
At least I have 2 extra zippers for my old favorites! -
1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor sizingReviewed by Ken from Chicago on Wednesday, February 6, 2019Apparently the sizing does not apply to the pants you normally wear. Ordered a medium and could barely get them buttoned though I am a 33 waist in pants.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gabriele from Las Cruces, NM on Monday, February 4, 2019they fit, they're warm. And what I didn't even notice when I bought them is that they have that cool side seam zipper which makes it way easier to take off.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Super dealReviewed by kspo from Steamboat Springs CO on Saturday, February 24, 2018Total steal at $40. Excellent design, fit and construction. I'm 5'9", 140 and the smalls fit me great. Heads up there are no side pockets, just a back (zip) one but that's a small concession.

2.0 out of 5 stars. returnedVerified Buyer Reviewed by CKD from NH on Tuesday, February 6, 2018They seemed to be quality pants but about five inches too long. There was no info on the total length when I bought these. I find that to be a common oversight when purchasing pants from Sierra. To avoid paying shipping return costs, an effort on your part to report the various lengths of each pair would be appreciated.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Happy CustomerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from GA on Wednesday, January 3, 2018First pair was a bit tight around the waist. The exchange from an M to L was easy and fast. I am very pleased with the fit, quality, function, price and customer service. First trial was a short motorcycle ride in 50 degree weather 50-70 m.p.h. and Pants kept me comfortable.
