About the Obermeyer Brand
Obermeyer 4.344588 5 Average Rating:
When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rcp from VA on Tuesday, October 17, 2017This has a sleek fit. I wished the silver was a little more stark against the white but I kept it.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Brenda from Story, WY on Thursday, October 12, 2017This sweater is gorgeous, so beautifully tailored with a such a rich pattern. One of those purchases where you buy immediately with no hesitation. I will enjoy wearing for years to come. Love Obermeyer and love STP!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Zanmeister from Brookfield on Thursday, October 12, 2017My husband loves this sweater. He doesn't like "scratchy" material, as he puts it, but he loves this sweater.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gwink Goes Shopping from Utah on Tuesday, October 10, 2017Outstanding quality, design and workmanship on this jacket with a very trim fit. I wear a size 16-18 and bought the 16. After checking out the Obermeyer size chart I thought I might be able to fit into this jacket. Um, like a sardine in a can! Okay, so I don't have an athletic build, but this jacket is still a very snug fit all over. I'd recommend buying a size up.

Reviewed by powder monkey from park city Utah on Friday, September 29, 2017I have a check list of the "must haves" when it comes to a ski jacket .this has it all
1. warmth and waterproof
2. a warm hood that overhangs enough to keep out snow flakes
3. high enough to cover the neck.
4. cuffs with buttons or Velcro to keep the gloves on and snow out
5. powder skirt so you won't get powder down the pants or up the back
This has it all.
Reviewed by K2 Denver from Colorado on Tuesday, September 26, 2017I'm only giving it 4 stars because the true test of a ski coat is a day of skiing. That said, I'm thrilled with the quality, appearance and fit of this jacket. I'm 5'10", 137 lbs and the size 8 fits perfectly. When I tried it on last night, my husband immediately (unprompted by me) said "wow that's attractive."
Verified Buyer Reviewed by SW skier from Colorado on Saturday, September 23, 2017This a very cute, light weight sweater. It's true to size and is meant to be a waist or high hip length. The hood is lined with a cute cotton fabric, but the body is not lined.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Danasfriend from San Francisco CA on Saturday, September 23, 2017This is a beautifully made sweater hoodie. It is perfect for my long slender arms. However, it is not fully lined, and is itchy on my skin. Even with a long sleeve shirt underneath I felt it would not be comfortable for me. I returned it.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gwink Goes Shopping from Utah on Wednesday, September 20, 2017Fuzzy on the inside and woven on the outside, the snowflake print looks casual, but dressy enough to wear from an outdoor activity to an indoor one afterwards. Thick fleece is super warm from neck to fingers with the high collar and hand coverage. Excellent quality; beautifully made. Priced well through STP.
