I'm 5'11" 170lb 19" torso, it has a lot of ways to adjust the torso and hip belt length but I couldn't get this to feel good. I loaded it with 30lb and took it for a short walk, the shoulder straps are narrow and hard, the lumbar support is awkwardly shaped, airflow isn't great across the back. Also the integrated right hip pocket stores very little and the "versaclick" waterproof pocket seems neat but is also small and hard to access.

I really wanted to like it since it has a huge single compartment and an integrated rain cover, plenty of straps and tie-down loops, sturdy material, but it's simply not comfortable with any weight in it. Had to return it.

I am fairly tall at 5'8. I found this day back to be very comfortable. I hiked over 30 miles so far with it, and no complaints. It has enough small pockets to make it convenient, with a couple larger pockets for bigger items.

I bought this for my son and he is very happy with it. I think it could have been a bit bigger. The side pockets are flexible and they easily hold any size water bottle. There's plenty of room for tech gear odds and ends and a shell-type pouch that protects delicate phones or sunglasses.

After 10 years of commuting to work with a shoulder bag, I finally decided to change things up and switch to a backpack and I couldn't be happier. It's light, rugged, and fits everything I need to get to work every day - laptop, charger, notebooks, tools, etc.

I just bought this pack for my adult sized teen age daughter. The pack is light, not "ultra-light", but very sturdy and lighter than any pack she has had previously. The ability of the pack to be adjusted is amazing and so far she's found it to be comfortable in the "around the house" test. We like that all of the contents can be reached through either the top load opening or the front load zipper opening. The extra external pocket for wet rain gear or other items will come in handy. She really likes that the top compartment transforms into an actual backpack for a summit pack, not just a "fanny pack". I was impressed as well. This should serve her well on her 3 week AT hike this summer and on our family backpacking and canoeing trips in the ADKs. I love that we got it at a bargain price at Sierra Trading Post!
