About the Grand Trunk Brand
Grand Trunk 4.380434 5 Average Rating:
The Grand Trunk story all started back in 2002 after two adventure-loving entrepreneurs converged during a backpacking trip in Thailand and concocted an idea to build a new kind of travel hammock. Grand Trunk hammocks became such a hit, that the brand eventually started adding new products to its lineup of “Goods for the Road,” including Grand Trunk travel pillows, sleeping bag liners, sleep sacks, tents and an even wider selection of awesome hammocks and travel accessories. From sunny seaside milieus to mountain base camps, Grand Trunk travel gear will outfit you for a more comfortable journey.

Reviewed by EmptyWallet from New York on Tuesday, May 8, 2018I have been using this on a daily basis for 3 months now. Typically, my wallet shares the pocket with my keys and so far, this wallet still looks very new, no pilling or tearing of the fabric. It was a little stiff to start, but broke in quickly enough and is quite comfortable now. The plastic picture/card hold did tear day one, which is a little disappointing, but not the reason I got the wallet. The coin pouch is great for all those little discount or membership cards if you don't want them bulking up your keychain. The pen is functional, and doesn't add any feeling of weight to the wallet. Its so unobtrusive that I often forget it's there when searching for a pen. I bought mine at a Sierra Trading post store, and checked it had the lanyard (haven't tested it yet though). All in all its pretty good wallet.
Comfortable, durable (exterior), overall smart design.
Currency pocket length is a bit tight, but still fits US bills just fine. UK and other country currencies will have a bit of trouble with larger bills.
Picture/card hold plastic is too thin and ripped the first day (minus one star).
Reviewed by Cyber terrapin from DelMarVa on Thursday, April 19, 2018I have a few of these in different sizes. They are good to compress to save space, separate your stuff, and just collect things in the room so that they do not get separated. I even use in my carry-on.
Reviewed by Dancer from New England on Friday, April 13, 2018While I indicated that the lanyard was missing, I did eventually find it in the zippered coin compartment.
I have not used this wallet yet but it’s features should work out well for travel.
Reviewed by Dancer from New England on Friday, April 13, 2018I like the way it’s organized and I like the material. However the packaging specifically indicates that the wallet features a lanyard loop and that a lanyard is included. The loop is there, there is no lanyard.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jack from Okinawa on Tuesday, March 20, 2018I own several hammocks, and pulled the trigger on this Grand Trunk double to replace a torn hammock in my collection. I was pretty blown away by the quality -- great fabric, plenty of space to stretch out on the diagonal, and an unbeatable price. The ropes that gather the two ends are stiff and sort of cheap, but are easily replaced with a lighter continuous loop of Amsteel. Carabiners are included with the hammock and are of excellent quality.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Robert Bryant from Boston on Sunday, March 11, 2018Note: I have not used this item. I do travel extensively and had my old wallet (billfold) stolen in the Philippines. I learned a lesson. So...I bought smaller compact wallets (to include this one) that go into a pocket and STAY THERE.
Ironically this thing is made in the Philippines and is very well made.
Perfectly sized to stay in the pocket and carry just enough of what you need when overseas (except Passport).
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Shoe Queen from Burtonsville, MD on Monday, February 26, 2018I thought this might be too small to be useful but it turned out to be well suited for packing shoes compactly for my roll-aboard carry on. Am thinking to order another one. I use it more than the medium size compression packets no cube.
