Straight forward and simple. Big fan of the on/off mouth piece.

Main reason it doesn’t get the fifth star is the shoulder straps. There is virtually no padding which can be bothersome on long runs or hikes.

Minimalist product, that I will put in trailer for emergencies or friends. I haven't tried this brand of bladder and won't use until summer (am a Camelbak fan), but for the STP price it will surely do the job!

Fits my Surface Pro, iPad Mini with keyboard, along with a few folders and mid sized books. Sturdy, well made and lots of pockets to fit power cords, pens, and other extras. I downsized from a backpack to this bag and like what I ended up with.

I purchased this pack because I needed a bag that could be stuffed and distribute the weight of my equipment; I’m an ecosystem scientist and I regularly deploy at night in the Dade County area in search of urban habitats for native animals (raccoons and bats).

This pack has served me beyond what I intended when I purchased.

The first thing I noticed upon inspection were the MOLLE attachements. The only caveat (I previously thought) about this pack was that it appeared to not have MOLLE webbing. It does; it has MOLLE webbing above the front minor zipper compartment and a symmetrical webbing on each side.

Having that, I was delighted. To Sierra Trading Post, please provide images of your products; pictures of quartered perspectives (0 degree, 45 degree, 90 degree, 135 degree) could mean the difference between a buyer and a buyer who lost interested.

Luckily, I pulled the trigger and lucked out big time with this pack. The fabric is definitely 600D. The stitching is top notch and I have already suggested this pack to several friends in law enforcement/scientific reconnaissance because the primary compartment has a pocket for ballistic insertion.

Note: this is a rucksack, meaning the primary compartment is large and is meant to be stuffed. Though, you may compartmentalize with smaller zipper packs, etc.
