This lantern is a great addition to any backpacker or camper's gear. Solar charging and USB outlet to charge your phone.

I was pleasantly surprised at how bright this is. Compact, lightweight. It came already charged. I haven't tried to charge anything with it yet, so I can't vouch for that aspect yet. It can be a difficult to pull apart to use the lantern mode, but I have a hunch that after some use it will get easier. The handle seems a little fragile, but all in all I really like it and would recommend it.

After a few trips, the back wheels are coming off. The company offered to replace the wheels for $9.50 each, but if it's a poor design, what's the point of making the customer pay for and self-install new wheels? Strongly advise against buying this suitcase and will not buy other Olympia products, given their customer service and warranty policy. One unhappy customer . . .

A customer on Amazon had a similar experience - "Horrible design on the wheels. After one flight, one of the wheels popped off completely and two others were coming off. The screws that hold the wheels to the case aren't supported enough and easily break off. The company offered to replace the luggage with the same (poorly designed) one, if I'd send them $20 shipping. I'd recommend avoiding all of their luggage lines."

These were very inexpensive, and meet all expectations of an inexpensive product. I wanted a cheap radio, and got it. Construction appears to be sound, operation and settings are easy, power options are many (NiCad w/USB charging cable and AC adapter, AAA alkalines optional), comfortable to hold. The actual sound quality is mediocre, but my communication requirements for these are simple, so I am not disappointed. But if you need good voice quality, spend more money.

It's a very nice suitcase but I was looking for a 22x14x9 so it complies with airline requirements. This suitcase does that but it's smaller than is stated. It measures 21" not 22" which is a big deal when you need to fit all your items in it. So, if you are looking for a nice 21" carry-on, this one is good but if you need the extra space, try another one.
