Really functional backpack. Was sweeped up in the backpack rage, so decided to get one. But not a backpack person so returned it. If you are a backpack person this one is very functional and sleek in a good way. Many compartments and well padded. I got the blue, which has a cool grey overtone, with a contemporary look. Well made.

I bought two of these because I love it so much. I had a fantastic duffel bag (made in Italy) which was matte black nylon that I carried as a very frequent traveller for over 20 years. I could fit an enormous amount in it, it was very light to begin with, and it appeared to be smaller than it actually was. It was larger than the allowed dimensions for carryons but was never challenged as long as I made it look "lightweight" even if it was full of books. The black duffel lost one of its metal feet which allowed water to enter it, and I began what has been a multi year search for a replacement. I've ordered nylon duffels from every manufacturer and returned most of them, but this is finally the closest I have come. And the cheapest! Thank you Sierra!

I bought the Briggs and Riley duffel and was looking to pick up the matching tote bag (not at Sierra) but the tote is HUGE. I like the duffel because it is deceptively large and does not get challenged at the airport and if push comes to shove, can be jammed under the seat in front of you. This complements the duffel as a personal item without making you look like a sherpa with two carry-ons. Carry lots of stuff without incriminating visuals!
