Many years ago I went to a local running store and had the specialists there fit me for a shoe that was good for my feet and gait. At the time I paid full price for the shoe they recommended and was really happy with it. I do like to support the local merchants, especially when they give me personal... Read More

  • “What is the difference between the 2A and B width? Is one narrow?”
Asked by Curious from Michigan on 11/6/2016 6:00:13 AM
    • Yes 2A is a narrow shoe and B is standard width!

    • Traditionally A widths have been narrow & B widths have been medium.

    • 2A is narrow, B is medium width. I have a narrow foot and the B width was fine for me.
Answered on 11/7/2016 6:10:37 PM by summit shopper from New jersey
    • 2A is narrow. I wear regular width and the B is the right fit. Especially with Brooks B is normal it doesn't run narrow at least in my experience.

  • “What's the passcode”
Asked by Betty from Kentucky on 6/15/2016 11:38:31 AM
    • If you subscribe to emails from Sierra Trading Post they will send you very frequent coupon offers, usually 25-30% extra off, sometimes .99 or free shipping. Seems like there is always a valid coupon code. Or you could use one of the online coupon search sites like retailmenot.com or coupons.com to see current codes for discounts.

  • “what is a size 10B, compared to a size 10 in a running shoe?”
Asked by Beth from Colorado on 3/4/2016 4:46:39 AM
    • Maybe narrower? The shoe runs small. I first bought these in a store, so I knew to go to a full size larger. 8.5 to 9.5. I'm not sure about the B.
Answered on 3/4/2016 5:24:04 AM by Mtn Biker from Asheville
    • I think they are both a standard medium width.
Answered on 3/4/2016 5:50:06 AM by Marilyn from Colorado
    • From my understanding of shoe sizes. B is the average width in shoes vs a W for wide or an N for narrow. If you're a plain size 10 in a running shoe, the 10B should work for you.
Answered on 3/4/2016 6:03:41 AM by Runner from Virginia
    • B is a medium width.
Answered on 3/4/2016 8:11:46 AM by Product Specialist Greg from Sierra Trading Post
    • B just means regular width. A is narrow, D is wide.
