2.0 out of 5 stars. They now run extra small!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Maureen from RI on Friday, April 14, 2017I wear one size larger in all Brooks. This Ariel was way too tight. The tongue is stitched to the sides and the toe box is smaller, making for an extremely tight and uncomfortable fit. I recommend trying them on somewhere before ordering. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable - steal on clearance!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Salt Lake City, UT on Thursday, March 30, 2017Fine quality, very comfortable. Although I did replace the insole, but to be fair I do that with most of my shoes due to my feet.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best shoes out there!Verified Buyer Reviewed by DCGardenGirl from Washington, DC on Tuesday, January 24, 2017Brooks is the best brand for people like me with foot "issues" and must wear orthotics. There is ample room in the
toe box for the the orthotics and my foot, and the best shoe for pronation. I didn't even need a new pair right now, but buy these to have in reserve when
I see them. Very comfortable. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great everyday shoes for stabilityVerified Buyer Reviewed by A Walker from California on Tuesday, January 10, 2017Can't beat these for walking. The generic inserts are remove able to allow use of a special insert. Wear mine every day and couldn't be happier. This is a great price as have never seen them for less than $120.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Shoe for 83 year old MomVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from South Carolina on Thursday, December 29, 2016We were looking for a shoe for my Mom who has a bad gait due to bad knees, and she also has bad circulation in legs and problems with her feet as well. A person working at Academy Sports actually recommended this shoe, even though they do not sell it. We bought her first pair of Brooks Ariel shoes about 4 years ago. She wears them everywhere, even to church. After buying her first pair, we ended up taking her to a podiatric surgeon, and he even said we could not buy her a better pair of shoes. Highly recommend this shoe!

5.0 out of 5 stars. A good bargain on an excellent shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by T. S. Booms from North Carolina triangle area on Thursday, December 22, 2016This is one of only two shoes that work for me (the other is Brooks Addiction). It works to control my pronation and also has a wide toe box and accommodates my orthotics but still comes up high enough to stay securely on my foot. I pretty much live in these shoes. The model and sizing are consistent enough for me to order them online and know that they will fit.
