Comfortable shoes for flat feet and plantar fascitiis as well as overpronation. The soles of the last pair I bought started coming apart at about a year and a half however, not as long wearing as some previous Brooks shoes I've had.

Reviewed by hospital transporter from Spokane, Wa. on Friday, February 22, 2013I have had a bunion surgery and a hot nerve in my foot. I also have some of the flattest feet. I walk eight to 12 miles a day on cement floors. I wore my orthotics in my first pair for one year and three months in the beast. I bought another pair and haven't used the orthotic but a few times. This pair seems more comfortable without them. I expect to get another fifteen months plus on this pair. I think that is good value. By the way my podiatrist recommended these shoes.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Wayno from Sunshine Coast, Australia on Sunday, February 3, 2013Over the years I have competed in everything from Cross Country to numerous Ironman Triathlons. I have on many occasions worn Brooks Beast shoes because of the added support they give to over pronators such as myself.I would also recommend them to someone that suffers from issues such as shin splints.
