3.0 out of 5 stars. Not For High ArchesReviewed by Stacieo from Chester, VT on Friday, October 26, 2018I've run in Brooks Ghost (road shoes) and Cascadia (trail runners) for approximately 10 years. I saw these Caldera on sale here on Sierra and decided to give them a try based on good reviews. The fit was perfect and as expected (I'm an 8.5 in road and trail shoes), and the cushioning was great. I'm giving them a 3 star review because after two weeks of running an average of 25-30 miles a week in them to break them in I developed a tibialis posterior tendinitis. I have high arches and these just simply couldn't support them, even with my orthotics in. I believe they'd be a great shoe for a neutral or pronated foot, but supinators beware, if you have high arches go with the Cascadia.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these shoes!Reviewed by Where is the pocket? from Michigan on Friday, June 8, 2018I stopped wearing anything but Brooks years ago - they make my feet happy. Caldera, though? I am contemplating the purchase of my 3rd pair, because they are THAT GOOD. Soft, cushiony, and lightweight. Love them!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Shoe but Didn’t FitVerified Buyer Reviewed by DesertLady from Arizona on Friday, June 1, 2018I ordered this shoe in two different sizes to make sure it fit in toe box. 5 days after I placed my order I received an email telling me one pair was on the way and the other was now out of stock. Of course the one I needed was the one out of stock. The pair I received was too big which I kind of thought it would be. I would have cancelled the entire order had I known they ran out of my normal size. It irritated me that it took 5 days to tell me that and I didn’t have a chance to cancel the other pair. A bigger disappointment was that once STP received my return, they informed me it would be 8 weeks before they would credit my credit card. Their policy is to give you a store credit and if not used up in 8 weeks, they will send a refund. I’m trying to get my refund early since I find STP has fewer and fewer products I want for the last few years ands I don’t have anything I want to order.

5.0 out of 5 stars. I love these shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Karellyn from East Hartford, CT on Wednesday, May 16, 2018These shoes were my first pair of official running shoes and I absolutely love them. I wear a size 6 but my friends told me to go up a whole size. I was a bit hesitant but went up a whole size and got a 7 and that was the best decision I could of made. I use them 24/7 and they are super comfortable. I loved them so much I ordered a second pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Ahhhh-mazingReviewed by Anonymous from Austin, TX on Tuesday, May 8, 2018Seriously like working out on clouds. I wear heels regularly, spent a decade playing roller derby, and am currently heavier than I’d like to be. Needless to say, my feet have taken and continue to take a beating on a regular basis. I’ve been using these for Zumba & Aerobics classes and have had zero foot issues. Great arch support, ample width in toe box, cushions ball of foot AND cradles heel. Seriously considering ordering a back up pair. Ran 1/2 size large in my opinion.

4.0 out of 5 stars. BounceyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Reno, NV on Monday, May 7, 2018I have worn PureGrits for the last 4 years, but this was a good deal, so I thought I would try them out. I have only worn them 4 times. They are very bouncy and have a higher heal drop than I am used to, but I was expecting that. Some blisters, that I always get when I get new shoes. Overall, they have been fun so far. They are VERY light! And I have used them on both road and dirt. Both have been fun. The toe box is nice and roomy; the reason I always choose brooks. And they dry really quickly. Excited about them so far..

2.0 out of 5 stars. DefectiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Saturday, May 5, 2018The eyelet on the left shoe was already loose and sliding on the lace when I took it out of the box. I went ahead and tried the shoes on anyway. Very uncomfortable . The sole is completely stiff with no flex. No cushioning at all in the shoe. I returned the shoe due to defect but will get full refund and not replacement since it is extremely uncomfortable.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not Safe for Trail Running!Reviewed by ChristineM from California on Sunday, April 29, 2018I purchased these elsewhere wanting the thick cushion while trail running. They have a lot of cushion but terrible traction and also caused me to roll my ankle a lot. I slipped numerous times while hiking and jogging in these. I have owned a lot of hiking and trail running shoes and these caused me to be phobic on trails I have done for years!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Super soft and comfyReviewed by Car Girl from Colorado on Friday, April 27, 2018I purchased these elsewhere. I'm normally an 8 in all Brooks but these did run a tad large so the 7.5s work great. Just breaking them in around town while snow melts. Have a spring in my step now!

4.0 out of 5 stars. LOVE the colors.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arizona on Tuesday, April 10, 2018I'm not a runner, but these shoes are good for walking. I got the hollyhock/lollipop/black colors, and the shoes are beautiful. I had an issue with the size though. According to the other reviewers, I needed to get a 7.5 since they run a little large. The 7.5 was way too small, and the 8.5 turned out to be the right size for me. There is enough room in the toe box for my wide feet. Good shoes!
