Nice but not for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gt44ever from Michigan on Friday, February 23, 2018Shoes are well built and seem overall very nice but they don't work for me. There is a seam between the inner gor-tex material and the mesh liner around the heel that cuts into my heel making the shoes very uncomfortable. I've seen this on other shoes and this case wasn't awful and may even have eventually worn out of them but unfortunately it's a deal breaker for me.
Shoes don't breath all that well but that's typical for gor-tex shoes. Also a problem for my sweaty feet.
Sizing appears accurate. Shoes aren't quite broken in out of the box.
supportive shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by hikerkaty from San Jose, CA on Friday, December 1, 2017My boyfriend loves them! Super supportive for steep rocky trails, but agile enough for running.
great shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by tony from ohio on Tuesday, October 17, 2017shoe looks great and feels great . seems to be made well
Soggy and uncomfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Peter R. from Richmond, Va on Wednesday, October 11, 2017I own other Brooks Cascadias and have been marathon training in those very happily. I purchased these to phase into my training and am terribly disappointed. At mile 12 on a long run I was forced to stop because of the puddles of sweat accumulating in the shoes. It's been 4 days and they're still wet. The tongue design on this shoe is also different and very uncomfortable. I'm very disappointed.
Exceptional trail shoeReviewed by LETSGO from Montana on Thursday, October 5, 2017This shoe is definitely well made. I broke them in on a 15-mile trail run with some elevation, and was impressed with the comfort and the traction/control. My toes did get slightly wet, but granted that was after over an hour of rain and snow, with wet brush overhanging the trail. I have a wide foot, and the model seems to be longer and narrower, even in the D width. I ordered my normal size, and there is a little extra room in the toe, but otherwise they're snug. Overall, very happy with this purchase!
