great buyVerified Buyer Reviewed by stephanie from Colorado on Wednesday, February 21, 2018these shoes are incredibly comfortable- nice cushion. i love how flashy they are. the ankle stability is pretty good if you use the extra lace eye, and they seem like they would be a nice fit for someone who had wider feet as well, as i have them laced up pretty tight/close on a normal width foot
I really wanted to love these, but...Verified Buyer Reviewed by twomeows from TX on Monday, February 5, 2018they just didn't fit me. The shoe was narrower than a typical Brooks M width; in addition, the tongue of the shoe was longer than my other shoes- it actually rubbed against the top of my foot when I walked. Loved the color and the unusual design, but the fit was just not for me. I returned them. I miss my Ghost 7's!
cushyVerified Buyer Reviewed by NatX from Virginia on Friday, December 15, 2017Super cushy. Fit might be a little big, but not enough to cause me to size down. Might be best for summer running. I wore them on a cold day and could feel the cool air moving through the upper.
fits wellVerified Buyer Reviewed by rixa from va on Sunday, December 3, 2017i have been using brooks running shoes for years and it never disappoints
Great running shoe for ball of foot painVerified Buyer Reviewed by Crystalgh001 from North Carolina on Monday, November 27, 2017I have several pairs of brooks and love them all, very comfortable. But the rise, though slight, after an hour the ball of my feet would burn and ache. These shoes have a small heel/toe drop, it takes some getting used to, but the comfortable run is worth it
Brooks Women Running ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Golfer7 from NC on Tuesday, November 14, 2017Love the running shoes! Comfortable!
Brooks makes good shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa the leisure runner from DC on Wednesday, November 8, 2017I appreciate the quality of these shoes, and it's the very good price offered by Sierra Trading Post that led me to buy them.
I run 4-6 times a week, typically 8-14 miles at a time on a trail that's mostly asphalt. These do the job.
Two things that I didn't expect:
- the sole of the shoe is not completely covered - I mean, the sole is covered with overlapping "pods", and in the few gaps, it seems to expose fabric. Don't know what this means for running through occasional puddles, but fwiw.
- the tongue might dig into your ankle/lower shin if you wear low-cut socks. The edge of the tongue is very thin (not padded), almost like a laminated piece of paper - and if it lines up with your ankle, that will be uncomfortable, but it's bearable. A minor cut, but no blister.
LoveThese ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lynn from Idaho on Monday, November 6, 2017I have 2 pairs these shoes. So comfortable and room for your toes. Great pair of shoes.

“Are Brooks running shoes true to size or run large or small?”
According to our fit team this item is running true to size.
“I was given several Brooks running shoes and I'm in love! I am <200lbs and walk not run. I want to know if these shoes, being made very different from the ones I have. Do they have the support for a heavier person?”
Not knowing what other Brooks shoes you are wearing I would recommend you call Brooks (1-800-227-6657) since they have a system for helping you make a switch from what you are currently wearing into another pair of their shoes that will work for you.
