Glad I did! It's very nice and just what I was looking for. FYI they say the "Small" runs size 6 to 8. Sometimes I'm a 6 and sometimes an 8 so I went with the smal... Read More
Reviewed by Megan the runner from Northeast Ohio on Thursday, July 10, 2014Bought this skirt for running. I was a little nervous that the inside shorts would be too short and allow for chaffing but they are not. I Love this skirt. I have even run several 10+ mile runs in it with little to no discomfort. The leg pockets are fantastic for stuffing gu and chapstick into. The elastic around the leg openings is a lifesaver as it does not allow the shorts to ride up. I would highly recommend this skirt and am on the hunt for another. The only issue I sort of have with it is that I should have gotten a medium. I'm 5'6" and 160-165lbs and it runs loose in the waist on me until I start sweating. Then it doesn't move on me.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jen from NJ on Tuesday, June 3, 2014I usually wear 8-10 in pants and got a size M skort. I have muscular thighs but these fit fine and don't ride up thanks to silicon grips inside short legs. No chafing and nice breezy feeling with skirt. Be aware that shorts offer no compression! The waist elastic could be a bit tighter (I have no trim waist mind you) but I don't think a drawstring would work. In all a good basic skort for warm weather. Maybe I need to invest in compression panties?
Reviewed by JoMama from Fort Collins, CO on Sunday, March 30, 2014Tried this item for tennis. The pocket on the leg is too small for a tennis ball. It is lightweight but short for tennis and the elastic bands around the legs are tight.
Reviewed by rbr2001 from Northern CA on Friday, February 28, 2014I love wearing this to the gym. It's super cute and comfortable. My only complaint is that shorts underneath aren't super snug, which is personally just something that bother me a little. They're not loose, but definitely not as tight as wearing regular spandex.
Reviewed by sierrakt from california on Monday, February 17, 2014I ordered this on a whim just because I wanted something to work out in with built in shorts and the price was right with good reviews.
Glad I did! It's very nice and just what I was looking for. FYI they say the "Small" runs size 6 to 8. Sometimes I'm a 6 and sometimes an 8 so I went with the small because they were almost out. Too small for me, had to return it for a Medium. I'm about 5.7 and 135. Also, it is short, so you need to be ok with that. Over all, great for a run or work out.
