Strange pocket flapsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Yamabushi from Oregon on Wednesday, February 14, 2018Overall it fitted me fine (men's small) but the external hand pockets have strange design in terms of the flap over the pocket zippers, creating wasted space/material/weight. I would have kept it if it had normal pockets. Otherwise the material and the quality looked good. Maybe a little loud material with no stretch.

EffectiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Average American Apparel Shopper from The United States of America on Sunday, February 4, 2018One of, if not the best running jacket I have ever used. It's merits are many.
Great jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Keith in Spokane from Spokane, WA on Saturday, February 3, 2018Excellent deal on this jacket! I have not put to a true test of the elements yet but like my new puffy hoody! The only negative I see is it is a little snug in the arm pits but I am also not a tall slender fellow, more of a 4x4 build. It still fits comfortably and think it will be a great addition to the exterior layers for camping, backpacking and fly fishing trips!
Great JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Zizzle from TN on Tuesday, January 30, 2018When zipped up and cinched down the jacket is very warm. Take off the hood and unzip the front and it’s great for mild days. Warm, water repellant, wind proof and highly packable, a great garment. Very utilitarian in design. Construction quality is great. Hood works fine w/o helmet, but does still stay facing forward when you turn your neck left or right. I’d like one more cinch strap to help with this issue. Also, the body seems baggier than it needs to be, even when taking layering into account.
great dealVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mon Lun Yee from Madison, WI on Tuesday, January 16, 20185'8" 140 lbs asian - small fits perfectly. not slim fit. but from a perspective of gear, perfect as a light weight outer layer with heavier midlayer underneath. I've also used it as a hoodie with just a T-shirt underneath and another shell over this hoodie - in single digit Chicago nights by the River - if you know what I mean, then that will give you an idea of how well this works.
I'd purchase it again - the hoodie part is helpful and tabs and sleeves are functional at eliminating draft.
Doesn't compress down as well as my Montbell gear but they use an exceloft insulation - which seems to be slightly more efficient. but this compresses down to a pretty flat gallon ziplock. and I'll be keeping this in my fishing pack for the San Juan on those colder days on the river.
