Primaloft One!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rodney from Florida Panhandle on Saturday, February 17, 2018A primaloft convert now! Extremely lightweight jacket. So lightweight that for my first use at about 32 degrees F, I was experiencing a strange sensation of my mind trying to tell my body it should have been more cold than it was-- my mind was expecting much much less warmth. Resolving what was going on in my head only took focusing on my hands and face and ears, which were all left exposed, thus experiencing tangible cold, to realize how well this jacket was insulating me. Only negative for me is also its lightweight construction-- in a working environment that includes briers (Smilax) and scratchy underbrush and groundcover, I am concerned about its durability.
Warm Jacket without the bulkVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from Colorado on Thursday, February 8, 2018Very nice jacket that packs into a small size in your pack. Very soft and comfortable to wear and keeps you warm. Use as an outer or inner layer.
Good, but maybe not great.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gabriel from IL on Thursday, February 8, 2018Very happy with this jacket. Ran true to size bought a large. I'm 6'0, 195lb, athletic biuld so take that how you want to. Very light jacket, but not super light, but for the price here I don't think you will find a better bang for the buck. If you do please find a way to tell me (haha). The pockets are a kind of a weird design takes a little getting used to, but they have a purpose for why they are the way they are. Insulation is good and seems like you could do right around freezing with it, and not have any problems. I have not had the chance to be in the backcountry yet with it, but looking forward to seeing how it does. Giving it a 4 star. I have had/worn some better jackets, but definitely not at this price point. So if you are looking for maybe a back up or a budget puff this could be for you.
Good value, yellow is actually two colorsReviewed by OutdoorGal from NY on Tuesday, February 6, 2018Nice light, warm jacket. I couldn't tell in the image, but the jacket is actually a different color on the shoulders and sleeves. I wish the whole jacket was that orangy color instead of the kind of dirty yellow the rest of the jacket takes on. Nice sleeves, not to wide for me, good length. Didn't like angled pockets (uncomfortable to rest hands in, awkward to to access). Jacket fabric feels nice, even directly against skin, but is a bit crinkly (not a rustle--a crinkle like chip bags) sounding as you move.
good valueVerified Buyer Reviewed by HBkites from Southern California on Tuesday, February 6, 2018I got this jacket as a 2nd layer under my shell.
I like to overall fit and finish. The sleeves color is different than the body's (hard to see in the picture).
Exceptional jacket.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Average American Apparel Shopper from The United States of America on Tuesday, February 6, 2018The best running jacket, or one of that I have ever used on a cold day. Great for activities that require a lot of physical exertion.
Thumbs UpVerified Buyer Reviewed by RagingTurtle from Ohio on Wednesday, January 17, 2018Very warm and very light weight. I've been wearing it as a car coat until the temperatures dropped below 30. When it starts getting very cold, I turn to a longer coat. For activewear, this is great.
very nice!Verified Buyer Reviewed by fly2mike from seattle on Sunday, January 14, 2018I got the size large. 5'8" x 170 pounds. Fits me very good. The sleeves are a good length, good freedom of movement. The sleeves are pretty baggy in the forearms Do you have Popeye style arms? Nope, my arms taper towards the hand end, maybe they need a different arm model :-) Anyway, I like this as a super lightweight "sweater" ? I wouldn't rely on it for real super cold weather as an outer garment, it is more of a shell liner in my opinion, and works great in that role. Skiing in cold weather with a shell over it is really nice, almost too warm in moderate temps. I like the high collar to seal out the wind, but the collar is just a tad snug around my neck, but really not bad, OK. Not complaining. I will definitely be keeping it. The main attraction is the super light weight. This could almost be stuffed in a pocket, or at least in a pocket of your pack to pull out on a windy ridge during a tour. I really like it for that type of use. If the sleeves wern't so baggy , and the neck a tad looser, I would definitely rate it a 5.
