This is exactly what I wanted. A great jacket that I could wear on a mildly cool day or to layer for extra warmth on a cold winter day. Well made and VERY light. A bit tight in the arm holes but otherwise perfect.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gummibear from Alaska on Friday, March 10, 2017For such a light jacket, it certainly is warm and comfortable. I wear this by itself or as a undergarment and have all winter.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by ORBowHtr from Oregon on Monday, March 6, 2017Good fit but a touch bulky so will need to wear an armguard to prevent the bowstring from catching the sleeve. While my movements don't generate a lot of noise, it is noisy enough that game close in to your stand will hear you. For me, would be warm enough for temps down to low 40s.

“Is this jacket quite enough for bow hunting? ”
This jacket is light, seems warm, but outer shell is made of polyester. It's very soft, but does make a little noise with movement. It is a very nice jacket and I am pleased with it.
If you mean is it quiet enough as in low noise, it's not the quietest. It doesn't make a much noise, but it's not completely silent when drawing a bow. It is a shinny material and is very water resistant. If you're also worried light reflection (fabric luminescence) then it will not be ideal for bow hunts where ultimate stealth is needed. Now, i will be using it this season as a mid-layer so my outer is quiet and thus won't be an issue for me. I also hunt in a blind so it's really not a big deal. A soft-shell style jacket may be better for you if you considering a more quiet water-resistant fabric. Hope that helps you Mitchell.
