These compact binoculars were modestly priced and expectations should be in line with the low price. I don't necessarilly regret the purchase but buyer beware. The magnification is limited. The biggest dissapointment was the lack lof lens caps-a big miss for this type of product. I would rather pay a smidge more and have the lens caps included! The shock absorbent carrying case was a nice touch though.

I wanted an inexpensive, small pair of binocs to carry in my vehicle. That way if I happen to see something interesting while driving around I can just grab these. I do a lot of bird watching. I have very expensive, quality binocs for when I go birding. But the Bruntons I can take any where, and if they are damaged or stolen, I am not out big bucks. These are not top of the line, but that's fine with me.

Looking for a durable and compact binocular for my kids to birdwatch with me...the compact feature made it difficult for my boys to be able to see as the individual scopes moved too easily (they can use our other larger pair just fine). I don't know why but there was quite a bit of glare that created a haze when viewing in bright sunlight as well. Needless to say, I returned them.
