“I see that you have an image of adjusting the length of the sleeves (the one that has a "seam ripper" in it)... could you please describe this process?”
The sleeve extender is folded up and sewn into the sleeve (typically with a contrasting color thread) You simply remove this thread and pull the sleeve out to extend it as it is seen in the picture.
