Most Helpful 4-Star Review

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great casual, not sure for riding

Goretex and down at an incredible price. It’s long enough to give extra protection, but a bit boxy. I ordered a L and an XL, the large body fit great, but the sleeves were too short. The XL sleeves were just right, but the body was too big even with a hoody underneath.
The things make me question how good it would be for riding are 1) no pit zips for ventilation and 2) there are chest pockets/hand warmer pockets that don’t close. They could easily fill with snow or melt, the big pockets at the hips have a minimal amount of Velcro to close them, so I suspect they’d fill up too.
It’d be a great winter coat that offers excellent protection for shoveling or going to the store, and would be better than what a lot of folks are wearing on the mtn, but lacks a few details most coats designed for riding/skiing would have.

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
