I purchased this jacket for my 16 year old daughter. Loves it! The slender cut is very flattering. She wore it boarding at Mt. Bachelor (Oregon), she was so warm she had to remove some other layers. Nice jacket. The fit was right on and it seemed like it was very warm and dry. Nice construction and the colors were good too. But I sent it back because I didn't like that the hood was not retractable or foldable OR removable. So for my purpose of wearing it on the coldest, wettest, snowiest days on the mountain, the hood would just fill up with snow and eventually make me cold and potentially wet. I usually don't put my hood over my helmet even if it does fit, which the hood did fit over the helmet. Otherwise, the jacket was nice.

Loved the look and feel as well as all the great pockets and other features. However, the sleeves were about 5" too long. I am 5'2" and ordered a Medium.

This is a great coat. It actually is a little brighter yellow than I expected but is beautiful and I love it. It isn't quite as thick as I expected but keeps you warm. I would recommend this coat and if you are confused about what size to order, definitely go by the sizing that they recommend. I usually wear a medium coat (8-10) but the sizing for burton says a large is a (8-10) and I ordered a large and it fits just like a medium would. Love it!

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
