I have only worn these pants once, on a day that started out cold, grew warmer, and then ended with snow/rain mix. When they got too warm, the zipper vents came in handy. And they stayed dry through contact with wet chair lift and atmostphere. Goretex cannot be beaten as a waterproof, venting fabric... Read More

These snow pants are really well made, but because they are low rise, I just didn't think they would be good for me in powder or cold, blowy conditions. I prefer snow pants that provide higher coverage. and I wish these included scuff guards. Instead the zippers are on the inside of the ankle, which I guess is fine for snow boarding, but not so great for tele skiing. I returned them in spite of the fact that I had really wanted to love them.

I have only worn these pants once, on a day that started out cold, grew warmer, and then ended with snow/rain mix. When they got too warm, the zipper vents came in handy. And they stayed dry through contact with wet chair lift and atmostphere. Goretex cannot be beaten as a waterproof, venting fabric. The pattern is a bit wild for 48 year old gal like me, but my solid jackets are a good contrast.

    • These pants fit at the waist. They are 'classic' fit, and there is a chart that shows that 'classic' is at the waist. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/sizing-fit-guide/

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
