Question & Answer

Questions about this product? Get answers from community and staff experts.

  • “Dear STP: There is a huge discrepancy for this jacket between the Size Chart and the individual pop-up sizes. By "this jacket" I mean the one with the "link" design. I don't know if the other colors have the same issue. This discrepancy concerns the chest sizes only: the Size Chart identifies the L = 40-42 | XL = 42-44 | 2XL = 44-46, whereas the pop-ups identify L = 42-44 | XL = 46-48 | 2XL = 50-52. Which is correct? My chest size is 46: which size jacket should I choose?”
Asked by AB from So. California on 9/21/2011 12:00:00 AM
    • The sizing chart is for general reference only. Sizes between different vendors and manufacturers varies and using the item specific sizing is best found in the item description. Therefore it is recommended that you follow the size on the pop-ups. It looks like a 2XL is the correct size for a 46 chest according to the pop-up size for the specific jacket you have selected.

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
