Perfect little pack

This pack is great for short mountain bike rides. Perfect amount of room for essentials. I can fit my hand pump (there is even a handy elastic strap that it fits in), multi-tool, patch kit, extra derraileur hanger, a cliff bar, and still have plenty of room for my phone, wallet, and car keys. • Just big enough

Just big enough to hold water for one ride, but that's the point. It's not bulky at all, I forget I have it on my back. I like the small packets as well. And the valve doesn't leak like my old one. The only thing that's a little annoying is the plastic hook on the right strap that supposed to keep the pipe in place - it's a little too tight, makes it hard to push the pipe in. Also in my opinion the ergonomic fill handle is an overkill... does it really have to be so big? Unless it serves some other purpose, beside holding it under the faucet for like 10 seconds.
    Overall I like it though.

This pack holds so much stuff in addition to water. So glad I purchased it!
  • Excellent pack!

Highly recommend! This bag is small enough to wear in runs but big enough to carry essentials for summer hikes. It does slide around a bit, but I don't find it problematic. The bladder is also easily removable, so it transfers well to any other bag with a hydration pouch.

I can fit my hand pump (there is even a handy elastic strap that it fits in), multi-tool, patch kit, extra derraileur hanger, a cliff bar, and still have plenty of room for my phone, wallet, and car keys. I’m used to a hip belt so it took some getting used to not having one, but I feel that the pack is still pretty secure. If I do small jumps it does bounce up so I wouldn't go sending it on doubles or anything! Also, the hydration bladder is 2.5L and I have yet to run out of water, usually I only fill it half way because it does feel a bit bubbled out on the back when it’s full. Very happy with the pack!

The colors remind me of Tony the Tiger so pardon the pun!

This is perfect as I work on the trails and in the field. It’s also helpful for biking or hiking. My significant other can carry this and I can carry the larger pack or vice versa! It’s also vibrant so him or i are visible out in the woods.

About CamelBak

The story behind CamelBak hydration packs started back in 1988 when a guy named Michael Eidson was preparing for the “Hotter’N Hell 100,” a 100-mile summer cycling race in Wichita Falls. Before the event, Michael (an EMT by trade) filled an IV bag with water and stashed it in the back of his jersey. With the tube slung over his shoulder and a clothespin to pinch it closed in between drinks, Michael had unknowingly created the prototype for what would become the CamelBak hydration system. Fast forward more than 25 years, and CamelBak is now the world’s leading hydration pack company, with more than 80 different products, including reservoirs, backpacks, hip packs, CamelBak water bottles, travel mugs and more.
