Fits well. Rides securely with no bounce. It has plenty of space for day hike activities. I use the internal bike tool bag for my medical supplies. I highly recommend this pack.

It holds a sandwich or two, rain jacket and all the tools and first aid I could need when I'm far from civilization. I also love the built in back protection. That being said, I don't use it for shorter rides because it is heavy.
