I really like the spout style - no fumbling around with a pull-top spout. The sides are pretty flexible and easy to squeeze. As far as insulation goes, it seems to be on a par with other insulated bottles. There is no magical solution to keeping ice and fluids cold longer than a couple of hours w... Read More

This bottle is solid... decent insulation. I love the mechanism for spraying water out of the top, but I wish that the top sealed to the bottle a bit better... if you put the bottle on its side, it leaks (not out of the nozzle, but out of the threads of the bottle... though this is the behavior I've seen from every bottle of this style, so not a big knock on this one)

For my workouts, I like the capacity, easy drinking, leak free design, but hardly notice any slower warming than in my single-wall squeeze bottle.

I found it strange that there was a limit on how many CamelBak products a person could buy: Limit 6......not just of one item but of any of the different CamelBak products. Don't you want to sell your product? That said, only 6 of my 17 grandkids got these waterbottles for the family reunion......we found others at the Dollar Store! My one-star rating is on availability, not product, since I could not buy enough for me to try one.

This water bottle is fine and keeps a drink reasonably cold depending on how hot the temperature is outside. The bottle itself is somewhat tall. I got it because I need the 21 oz for my frame, but because of the added insulation it is too high for what I need. I will use it for hiking.

I bought two of the 25 oz and two of the 21 oz. The first one I opened leaked slightly when squeezed, but none of the others did. STP replaced it immediately. So far I have taken them to work, on bike rides, and on a hike. They work well, do not leak, and keep drinks colder than regular bottles by a bit. We'll see how they hold up by the end of summer. A quick wash and they did not taste of plastic.

About CamelBak

The story behind CamelBak hydration packs started back in 1988 when a guy named Michael Eidson was preparing for the “Hotter’N Hell 100,” a 100-mile summer cycling race in Wichita Falls. Before the event, Michael (an EMT by trade) filled an IV bag with water and stashed it in the back of his jersey. With the tube slung over his shoulder and a clothespin to pinch it closed in between drinks, Michael had unknowingly created the prototype for what would become the CamelBak hydration system. Fast forward more than 25 years, and CamelBak is now the world’s leading hydration pack company, with more than 80 different products, including reservoirs, backpacks, hip packs, CamelBak water bottles, travel mugs and more.
