Camelbaks always perform. Great squirter top that does NOT leak but has a lock to make sure. HIGHLY recommend.

This is a simple, light, effective and economical water bottle. Some reviewers complained about the twist sealing top, but it is no problem to use one-handed for me. I also have a similarly sized stainless bottle that I like to take to the gym, but I like the ability to squeeze this bottle for an extra fast drink when biking. I would buy this bottle again.

No leaks, good flow. Takes two hands (or a hand and something to brace the bottle on) to open, but quick and simple to pick up on.

This water bottle is pretty good. The valve locks but it's a twist so it requires two hands. Maybe not a big deal but I'm not sure it's any more secure than more standard style that you can unlock by pulling with your teeth. Also, there are indentations around the side that make it very comfortable to hold with the fingers and thumb on your right hand. When. You switch to your left hand it's a little awkward.

If you are looking for a bottle that has a great seal, this is for you. If you want one you can open easily on the bike, this is not for you...It is well made, too. You have to "twist" the valve to open it, so it may be tricky if you aren't super-confident with your bike handling skills. On the other hand, if you want a bottle that won't leak in your bag, well then this is perfect. Also, it is NOT insulated, like some of the other CamelBak bottles...

About CamelBak

The story behind CamelBak hydration packs started back in 1988 when a guy named Michael Eidson was preparing for the “Hotter’N Hell 100,” a 100-mile summer cycling race in Wichita Falls. Before the event, Michael (an EMT by trade) filled an IV bag with water and stashed it in the back of his jersey. With the tube slung over his shoulder and a clothespin to pinch it closed in between drinks, Michael had unknowingly created the prototype for what would become the CamelBak hydration system. Fast forward more than 25 years, and CamelBak is now the world’s leading hydration pack company, with more than 80 different products, including reservoirs, backpacks, hip packs, CamelBak water bottles, travel mugs and more.
