This has more room and a lower center of gravity for the reservoir. Like the tool roll as I can use it with the pack or in my frame bag. Nice looking pack and light enough to use all day without feeling uncomfortable like some other packs. Highly recommended!

This pack has everything I've ever wanted in a pack. I hike a LOT so I know what's important in a pack.
I LOVE the big mouth opening of the water reservoir. I can put handfuls of ice in there easily. I love the handle that is attached to it so you don't have to struggle with a wiggly bag while trying to fill it. It also has a SUPER COOL easy release of the water line for when you want to pull out the reservior and fill it. Makes it easy to just store it in the fridge overnight before a hike. Sierra Trading would sell more of these if they would actually show pics on the website of these great features.
This pack also has a magnetic clip on the drinking hose and that hose even has an on/off valve for when you store the pack and wan't to be sure it doesn't leak. I leave it in the open position when I'm hiking so I only have to bite down to get a drink.
This pack is very comfortable as it sits on your hips. My old one would pull on my shoulders when it was full and make them sore. This pack has lots of ways to adjust the fit and has lots of pockets. It's made for cycling so it has a little bike toolkit bag which I don't need for hiking so I've turned into a first aid kit.
I can even fit my I phone 5C in the waistband pocket.
I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase!
