different chamois than other Canari brand shorts

I have several varieties of Canari cycling shorts. This pair has a completely different shaped chamois than the others (dream, vortex pro gel, micro). The front area (the bottom of the T-shape) is rather wide. After 25 miles the chamois really began to bother me. I won't be wearing these on long rides. The fabric is a little better than the micro, but does not give the level of compression of the dream or vortex shorts.
