I don't understand why either. They're comfortable, warm, don't wrinkle and they look good. These chamois shirts from Canyon Guide Outfitters didn't disappoint. They're great!

It has a nice soft fuzzy fleece lining the body and quilted covered fleece in the arms so they are easy to slide on. The outside is cotton. It is very light and warm. The cuffs are a nice touch. It is more like a sweater than a shirt.
I may order another one.
