Great for shorter people

This jacket has a banded bottom and sleeves. I am 5'2" and it fit me fine. I also have the Carhartt Berkeley jacket. The Berkeley is longer in the body and sleeves. This lining is their flannel quilted lining, which is supposedly Carhartt's warmest lining. I don't notice a difference in warmth between this one and my Berkeley, which has the Sherpa lining. This jacket is lighter than the Berkeley, but shorter. I highly recommend them both, but it depends on what you prefer. This is supposedly a second, but the only "flaws" I've found is that the zipper is stiff (all Carhartt women's jacket zippers are a little stiff, even the first quality ones) and the stitching on one shoulder looked slightly wavy. Five minutes of zipping the jacket up and un zipping it helped a lot. It was well worth saving $60 over the local ranch store's prices for the same jacket. -- As with all Carhartt Duck jackets, the jacket runs large compared to other brands and the Duck outside is very stiff until you break it in some. But the jacket is rugged and great for any outdoor activity.
