    • We do not offer rain checks. Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. • “Are the water proof?”
Asked by Tiffany from Pa on 1/25/2017 8:32:42 PM
    • No, tough and warm. Did fine rolling in the snow to get my tractor chains on. I don't think they are waterproof though.

    • Techically no, but the canvas is doubled on the knees and lower leg and the quilting is thick. Rain won't get threw but kneel in a puddle of water for a few minutes and you'll be wet

    • I would not say "water proof" like a rain jacket, but highly water resistant. The outside is still cotton duck, like the standard Carhartt pants, but they appear to have a treated surface so that it doesn't absorb water so easily.

    • These do have some water resistance, but they are not waterproof.
Answered on 1/27/2017 2:43:15 PM by Product Specialist Greg from Sierra Trading Post
    • They are water resistant, but they are not like a rain slicker.

  • “are these the R33?”
Asked by Mark D from NJ on 1/16/2017 3:44:20 PM
    • Sorry I checked my bibs and could not find any markings for r33. I can tell you this I work outside in Northern Illinois in the country where the winds blow all winter in these bibs keep me warm without long underwear or insulated pants. The coldest day this season has been one degree Fahrenheit and I was outside for 8 hours no problem hope this helps

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
