good pants

been wearing these all winter indoors mostly in the shop and they're holding up fine. the ripstop cotton fabric has held up so far and is not as rigid as i thought it would be. no break in period needed. wore them last week to collect a bunch of firewood and was in and out of the dirt, grass, and some brush all day with no signs of wear. i like that the knees are doubled up since that's the first thing to go on all my pants. plenty of pockets if you're into that kind of thing. nice, low key colors. fit over boots just fine.

only gripes i have is that they're a hair snug in the waist; like an inch too short around it feels. they also like to be hiked up off the hips unlike my Dickies so the crotch is a bit tight if they wonder down a little. i think the entire hip area is a little on the snug side, but i'm being picky. bending and lifting 100 lbs rounds of oak had me concerned i'd blow something out but they did great.

also can't tell what makes them seconds. great pants.
