Seams to be a bit of a problem here

The pants would fit a slimmer person better. In my case, my thighs are fuller, so the seams that run in the inner thigh area caused a noticeable amount of friction in the same area. If I were working or walking constantly throughout the day, I would likely be sweating, and that along with the extra friction would most likely cause an irritation on my inner thigh area. The extra seams in that area are there to build in more room in the crotch.
The recommended "one size up" recommendation did not prove to be accurate advice in my case. I ordered one size up, and while the thighs fit alright, the waist was too big. With a belt, the slack in the waist caused a noticeable fold in the front. My normal size would have been a better fit in the waist, but I hesitate to say the thigh would fit. For a slimmer person, the fit in the thigh probably wouldn't be a problem.
