Exactly what I wanted; going to buy another pair too :-)

I've been looking for relatively lightweight overalls for a while but couldn't find exactly what I wanted -- 'til now. I just wanted simple, comfortable bib dungarees for around the house & garden that also looked nice enough to wear into town (e.g., for grocery shopping).

The fit on these is very good. As another reviewer remarked, it probably would be even better if there were 3 button closures on each side instead of two, but I haven't had any problem with gaping so far. The weight of the material is exactly what I was looking for: light but not thin. And it's nice and soft. You don't move like the tin woodsman in need of an oil can the way some denim can make you feel. There are 10 pockets in total but they all lay flat and don't give you that "pouchy" look of cargo pants.

I'm 65, 5'8" tall and weigh 140 pounds (38"B; 33"W, 38"H) I got the Carhartt Denim Bib Overalls in medium/tall. The medium is perfect... maybe even a little loose. But that's OK. The tall part is about 3" longer in the leg than i need, but that's easy enough to remedy. Currently, I'm just rolling them up, but eventually I'll get around to hemming them. I've washed them once so far and the shrinkage, if any, was minimal (warm water wash/cool water rinse). They're supposed to be "seconds" but I've looked them over pretty carefully and can't figure out what's wrong with them. I can't speak to their durability yet but I'm going to assume that anything made by Carhartt is intended for the long haul.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with these overalls. So much so that as soon as I post this review, I'm going to order another pair!
